Design of the visual identity for Tony’s.
Tony's is a new independant record store that recently opened in the lovely village of Sutton, in the Eastern Townships. It sells mostly used and new vinyls and wishes to attract a mix of locals and tourists from Montreal and the US. Tony's offers carefully selected, high quality products that will satisfy any music fan as well as more specialized collectors.
In this context, Manège created an identity that mixes approachable, home-made like typography with unique looking 3D visuals that help set the record store apart from its competitors and give it a high-end feel. The hand-drawn illustrations used with the 3D animals add a touch of humor to the concept, make the brand appealing and spark curiosity in potential customers.
